HUAWEI PURA 70 ULTRA

Huawei has changed the name of one of its flagship smartphone models. The “Huawei P” series was renamed “Huawei Pura” by the company. A few days later, the Huawei Pura 70 series of gadgets were launched by the business. In that series, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is the most potent smartphone. We are here to discuss the phone. While the other three devices are also pretty interesting, it readily sticks out from the crowd.

Huawei unveiled the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra smartphones. The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra has the greatest camera configuration of all the devices, and it does distinguish out slightly in terms of style.

We’ll do our best to provide you with as much information as we can about it in this article. Before we get started, keep in mind that the phone was only released—at least initially—in China. We anticipate a global rollout in the near future. That being said, let’s get started.
With its most potent specs, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra leads the line. The brand-new Kirin 9010 SoC powers it. That is the new chip from Huawei, developed in association with SMIC. Although Huawei has not yet disclosed all of the information, we assume that it is manufactured using the same 7nm tech as the Kirin 9000S.

However, this 12-core processor has a marginally stronger GPU. Furthermore, this phone from Huawei comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Users have 512GB and 1TB of internal storage to select from. However, keep in mind that the storage cannot be expanded.
This device has a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 2844 x 1260 pixels. The refresh rate of this LTPO AMOLED panel is up to 120 Hz (1-120 Hz). The display features a 300Hz touch sampling rate in addition to high-frequency PWM dimming at 1440Hz.
Although the display has rounded edges on all sides, it is actually flat; the glass is the only part that curves. This display boasts a ppi of 460 and is shielded from damage by Kunlun glass, which has worked well on previous Huawei flagship models.
Located inside the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is a 5,200mAh battery. 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 20W reverse wireless charging are all supported by the phone. In case you were wondering, the package does contain a case for the smartphone in addition to the charger. In addition, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra has IP68 certification for dust and water protection. It has a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port at the bottom and Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility.

Here, the camera arrangement is quite intriguing. Huawei’s flagship phones are renowned for their exceptional cameras, even after their partnership with Leica ended. The 50-megapixel retractable primary camera of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is one among its features. It can be physically retracted, yes. Having undergone 300,000 cycles of testing, the retraction mechanism is more than reliable. An f/1.6 to f/4.0 multi-stop aperture is available on the primary camera. Naturally, it also offers sensor shift anti-shake with OIS. Here, Huawei also made use of a 1-inch camera sensor. Though the Sony IM989 was thought to be one, the company did not specify which one on its full spec sheet.

Ultrawide and macro telephoto cameras are provided in addition to the primary camera. On the back is a 40-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Included as well is a 50-megapixel macro telephoto camera. It supports OIS, features a 5cm macro mode, and an f/2.1 aperture. With a 3.5x optical zoom, this camera can focus at 22.5mm, 13mm, and 90mm focal lengths. Additionally supported is a 100x digital zoom. Generally speaking, 4K video recording and fullHD super slow-motion recording at 960 frames per second are supported. On the front of the phone is a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens.

Does Google services come with the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra? No, it doesn’t. As most of you are already aware, the US has banned Huawei in a number of ways. Huawei use its own services, HMS, since the company is prohibited from using Google services on its devices. Please be aware that neither the Google Play Store nor any of Google’s apps are available here because Google services are prohibited. To get them to run, you’ll need to use an emulator, like GSpace. However, Huawei has included AppGallery, its own app store, here. If and when the global model is introduced, this will also be the case. However, a worldwide version of AppGallery will be part of the global model.

In China, Huawei offers two variations of the Pura 70 Ultra. With 512GB and 1TB of storage, it is available. 16GB of RAM is included with both of those versions. While the device with 1TB of storage costs CNY10,999 ($1,519), the 512GB storage variant is available for CNY9,999 ($1,381). Please take note that should this phone wind up being released in markets other than China, the price tags would fluctuate significantly. and it most likely will.
