Huawei recently revealed that the popular P series lineup will now be branded with the Pura logo. With four new smartphones, the most recent Huawei Pura 70 lineup has now been released. The Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra are in the portfolio. We will concentrate on the Pro variants in this article. There’s a fresh design approach with the Pura 70 series. On the rear side is a camera module in the shape of a triangle. This design of the camera module distinguishes the Pura 70 series from other smartphones.
The Pro models have slightly curved edges, while the vanilla version is flat in form. The Pro model weighs 220 grams, compared to the 207 grams of the Pura 70. Every phone comes with a variety of color options.
The screen on the Pura 70 is 6.6 inches. The 6.8-inch screen on the Pro versions, however, is larger. OLED panels with a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptable refresh rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 300 Hz touch sampling rate are features shared by all three versions. The company used second-generation Kunlun Glass for protection.
Camera
We may anticipate the same high-end camera qualities from the new Pura phones, since the Huawei P series was renowned for them. The triple rear camera configuration of the Pura 70 includes a 12MP periscope telephoto lens, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 50MP main lens. A 13MP camera is resting in a punch-hole notch for taking selfies.
The cameras on the Pura 70 Pro and Pro+ are identical. A 48MP macro telephoto lens, 12.5MP ultrawide, and a 50MP primary lens are included. Huawei guarantees excellent image quality with its Pura 70 series thanks to the XMAGE technology. The variable aperture range for all three models is f/1.4 to f4.0.
Performance and Battery Life
The Kiron 9010 processor with the Maleoon 910 GPU powers the Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Pro Plus. The Kirin 9000S1 processor, an underclocked variant of the Kirin 9000S chip, is included in the regular version. Let’s talk about the battery. The regular Pura 70 has a 4900mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly at 50W or via 66W cable fast charging.
Battery capacity and charging speeds are similar for both Pro phones. The 5050mAh battery capacity of the Pro versions comes with compatibility for both 80W wireless charging and 100W wired fast charging.
Pricing starts at 5,499 yuan (about $759) for the Pura 70, 6499 yuan (about $899) for the Pro, and 1105 yuan (about $1105) for the Pro+.
