The open-world action-adventure game Assassin’s Creed Mirage, created by Ubisoft, is set to be released for iOS devices on June 6, according to the developer. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which was initially shown on Apple devices in September of last year, will be available on the App Store for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air, and iPad Pro with M1 processor or later. This means that it’s the first Assassin’s Creed game to be played natively on a mobile platform.
Ubisoft reports that Mirage may be downloaded and played for free via the Apple App Store for a duration of ninety minutes. Users will have to pay $49.99, about Rs. 4,174, for the entire game.
Once full access is obtained with a single in-app purchase, the game’s complete version will allow universal purchasing, making it playable on both iPhone and iPad.
You can pre-order Assassin’s Creed Mirage right now on the App Store. Additionally, Ubisoft said that the game would allow players to sync their progress across all platforms by supporting cross-progression and cross-saving via Ubisoft Connect.
Ubisoft Sofia is the developer of the game’s iPhone and iPad versions, and they aim to offer an identical experience to the console version. Although Ubisoft said that the controls for the game have also been adjusted for the touch screens of the iPhone and iPad, consumers may still play the game using a suitable controller for an even better experience.
The tech giant introduced its iPhone 15 selection during Apple’s Wonderlust event in September of last year, when Mirage was initially released for iPhone and iPad among three other games. Originally scheduled for an early 2024 release, the game will now launch on Apple devices on June 6. Triple-A titles such as Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village, and Death Stranding have already been released on the iPhone 15 Pro models and the iPad models with model numbers starting from M1.
On October 5, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Players take on the role of Basim, a teenage street pickpocket who joins the Hidden Ones and advances through the ranks to become a Master Assassin in this game, which is set in ninth-century Baghdad.
