A Strategic Partnership Between Airtel and Google Cloud is on to Help Provide AI-Powered Cloud Services for Businesses

Together, Airtel and Google Cloud are developing and launching cloud services for businesses in the Indian market that are driven by artificial intelligence (AI). Through this collaboration, Airtel hopes to develop server-based services, such as different analytics tools, IoT products, and more, by utilizing Google’s cloud solution suite. In addition, the telecom operator intends to enhance its internal procedures and operations in India and abroad, as well as incorporate Google’s cloud-based AI capabilities into its mobile, internet, and digital TV products.

“As India accelerates its digital transformation, cutting-edge cloud and AI solutions will be at the heart and center of this change,” stated Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO of Bharti Airtel, when making the announcement.
“We are happy to partner with Google Cloud and jointly address this market opportunity with secure and scalable Cloud solutions for government, enterprises, and emerging businesses. Together, we will also accelerate the deployment of gen AI in the country and unlock its potential to solve problems.” He said.

The telecom provider intends to accelerate the uptake and implementation of its array of cloud-managed services by utilizing the resources provided by Google Cloud. There are three different kinds of analytics services available here. Geospatial analytics solutions that offer predictive capabilities, market evaluation, location information, and other features come first. Airtel will also develop marketing technology solutions that can predict customer behavior, segment audiences, and offer contextual advertisements at lower prices, as well as voice analytics solutions for AI-powered conversational apps with multilingual capabilities.

In addition, Airtel intends to offer end-to-end IoT solutions for the utility sector. In order to provide businesses with quicker implementation, these solutions will combine connection through Airtel, Google Cloud services, and application software.

Lastly, the business intends to create and update its own mobile, internet, and digital TV packages using Google’s AI-powered cloud technologies. Additionally, it will simplify its internal operations and procedures. Airtel has established a managed services center in Pune with over 300 professionals who are presently undergoing training to comprehend Google Cloud services and create cloud solutions, in order to support its cloud-based solutions business.

The press release states that a significant expansion is anticipated in the public services sector in India. Airtel and Google Cloud want to join this market with their cloud services and current client base of one million developing companies and over 2,000 major organizations.
