On Thursday, May 30, the Vivo Watch GT and the Vivo S19 series were introduced in China. With more than 100 pre-set sports modes, the smartwatch comes pre-installed with BlueOS. It has an operable rotating crown and a 2.5D borderless curved display. In addition, the watch supports e-SIM and has a battery life of up to 21 days. Price and Availability
The eSIM + silicone strap version of the Vivo Watch GT costs CNY 799 in China, while the eSIM + synthetic leather strap version costs CNY 899. While the vegan leather strap is promoted as Clear Sky and White Clouds, the silicone strap is shown in a tint known as Summer Night Black. The watch will go on sale on June 14 and is now available for reservations through the Vivo China e-store.
Features And Specifications
With support for Always-On-Display (AOD), the 1.85-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED screen on the Vivo Watch GT has a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. AI Shorthand is one of the several AI-powered capabilities included with Vivo’s BlueOS out of the box. With the help of this functionality, users may record audio straight from their watch, synchronizing and saving the relevant files in the Atom Note app. In addition to other features, it offers AI Watch Face, which is capable of creating watch faces in response to users’ voice commands.
The recently unveiled Vivo smartwatch has optical sensors for blood oxygen level and heart rate. Together with sleep and menstrual cycles, the Vivo Watch GT also tracks stress levels. The Vivo Health App synchronizes and gives access to the data from various trackers. Accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic, and ambient light sensors are additional sensors.
The Vivo Watch GT has a 505mAh battery that supports magnetic pin charging, courtesy of Vivo. The watch boasts a battery life of up to nine days when using eSIM, Bluetooth, and the power-saving mode. With regular use, that figure drops to three days.
In a battery-saving mode, the watch is said to last up to 21 days when just Bluetooth is used and no eSIM is used, and up to 10 days with regular use.
The Vivo Watch GT has support for Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou, NFC for payments, and LTE connection via eSIM. The watch has a functional rotating crown in addition to a speaker and microphone. It is 45.8 x 39.6 x 11.2 mm in dimension and weighs 33g.
