Xiaomi has launched a new, affordable phone – The Redmi A3x. The new entry-level phone was launched towards the end of May, 2024.
The Unisoc T603 SoC and 6.71-inch HD+ LCD screen of the Redmi A3x are its two main characteristics. It has an 8-megapixel dual back camera configuration and comes in three color options – Aurora Green, Midnight Black and Midnight White.
There are two RAM and storage versions available: 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
The Redmi A3x is already available in Pakistan, parts of Africa and other markets around the world.
It goes for a very affordable price of about 65 dollars.
The phone provides for dual SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 14, which has been confirmed will receive two major Android updates and security patch updates for three years.
It also comes with a 6.71-inch HD + (720 x 1,650) LCD display with up to 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits local peak brightness. It is designed with a waterdrop-type notch display.
An octa-core Unisoc T603 SoC, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage power the new Redmi A-series phone. using more onboard storage, the built-in RAM can be increased to 8GB, and the available storage can be increased to 1TB using a microSD card.
The Redmi A3x has a dual back camera design with an 8-megapixel camera and a QVGA sensor. The front of the device has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The Redmi A3x has the following connectivity options: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, 3.5mm audio connector, and USB Type-C port. The e-compass, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and virtual ambient light sensor are among the sensors on board. It features an AI-powered face unlock function and has a fingerprint sensor located on the side.
The 5,000mAh battery of the Redmi A3x is capable of 10W fast charging. It is 168.4 x 76.3 x 8.3 mm in size.
