The countdown is on, and Samsung is all set to unveil its newest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung’s anticipated full-size foldable phone, is expected to be announced at the company’s upcoming product launch event.
There’s much anticipation to see if Samsung can reclaim the top spot in the list of the best foldable phones now that its competitors are making fantastic foldable phones as well.
It is anticipated that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 would have a more robust “Ironflex” display screen and a larger but yet slimmer design.
Expect the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which should improve performance and extend battery life.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s flagship processor for 2024, is expected to power the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which will weigh 14 grams less than its predecessor.
Samsung may increase the size of the outer display from 6.2 inches to 6.3 inches, but the phone will still have a 7.6-inch inner display.
However, it is rumored that the camera set up might not be very different from that of its predecessor the Galaxy Z fold 5.
Although there has been a little price reduction for the Galaxy Z Fold series since the $1,980 model, we wouldn’t anticipate anything particularly noteworthy this year.
Even with less expensive production techniques, the technology is still pricey, and competitors’ tablet-style foldables, such as Google’s Pixel Fold, don’t appear to be in a rush to lower costs either. A price between $1,699 and $1,799 looks reasonable.
OnLeaks, the leaker, believes the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will cost $100 more than its predecessor. Accordingly, the 512GB and 1TB versions would cost $2,019 and $2,259, respectively, while the beginning price would be $1,899.
